TITLE:   SALES ENGINEER / ACCOUNT MANAGER

REPORTS TO:   Business Development Manager

LOCATION:  Kessebohmer Ergonomie – Grand Rapids, MI  PAY:  Salary

OVERVIEW:

We are looking for an experienced professional to complement our US team in support of our continued growth. The Account Manager will be responsible for maintaining and growing existing accounts as well as developing new business within target markets to achieve the long-term growth strategy of the organization. This individual will be an accomplished account professional with demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining both broad and deep relationships with commercial accounts.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Establish and develop strong relationships with existing and new customers.
  • Be the voice of the customer while positioning and representing the company in the best possible way through effective communication between the customer and company.
  • Develop strategic and tactical plans to bring in new business as well as create and implement successful product launches.
  • Promote the company’s products by supporting customers’ objectives & solving their problems.
  • Negotiate, communicate and document terms, pricing, and contracts
  • Educate customers on technical product features/benefits of the company’s products and capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of the competition
  • Develop, prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to leadership
  • Provide input on pricing strategies and maintain price-lists
  • Provide input and help develop strategies for new product introductions•

 

EDUCATION:

Associates Degree (Bachelor’s degree is preferred)

 

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • A mechanical aptitude that can translate into being a valued resource for internal & external stakeholders. Office furniture industry a plus.
  • A strong focus on exceeding both internal and external expectations
  • Enthusiastic, energetic, and passionate about personal and organizational success with a high level of organizational and time management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Well-developed presentation skills
  • Solid intellectual abilities including reading, writing, math, and analytical skills

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Office / Travel – Able to travel up to 50% and occasionally lift up to 45 lbs.  Must be able to tolerate the physical and environmental demands of this position with or without accommodations.

TITLE:   PRODUCTION ASSEMBLER    

REPORTS TO:   PRODUCTION LEAD

LOCATION:  KEA – GRAND RAPIDS                               

PAY:  HOURLY

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Production Assembler is directly responsible for meeting production and quality requirements necessary meet customer requirements and expectations. This is a hands-on role and requires a high level of pride in workmanship and maintaining a clean safe and productive environment.

 

  1. Perform assembly of fabricated sub-assemblies and finished products using written instructions, blueprints, fixtures, hand tools, and measuring equipment.
  2. Perform necessary packaging, labeling and quality control prior to shipment.
  3. Ensure all Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Productivity Goals are met
  4. Maintain and follow daily production schedule
  5. Follow 5s / housekeeping standards
  6. Candidate can solve problems through analytical problem solving skills.
  7. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment. Shifts can be up to 12 hours per day and up to 6 days a week
  8. Other duties as directed.

 

EDUCATION:

High School diploma or GED equivalent

 

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • 1+ years of manufacturing production experience.
  • Ability to use wrenches, power tools, and measurement equipment.
  • Packaging experience including but not limited to shrink wrap and boxing and various packaging equipment.
  • Must be able to read and write English well enough to complete and comprehend instructional forms.
  • Positive attitude
  • Must pass pre-work physical and drug test
  • Must provide documentation showing legal citizenship

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Factory – Able to lift up to 50 lbs (22.7kg) consistently throughout the shift unassisted. Must be able to tolerate the physical and environmental demands of this position with or without accommodations

TITLE:   SHIPPING / RECEIVING COORDINATOR    

REPORTS TO:   PRODUCTION LEAD

 LOCATION:  KEA – GRAND RAPIDS                               

PAY:  HOURLY

RESPONSIBILITIES:

In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, efficient, and timely shipment of all of the company’s products to its customers. Responsibilities include picking, packing, and shipping customer orders, preparing shipping documentation, and managing inventory.

 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Pick inventory for orders efficiently and accurately.
  • Process domestic and international shipments.
  • Package orders and organize by shipping method for daily pick up.
  • Identify, log and report incoming damaged or defective products.
  • Process vendor returns.
  • Assist with inventory cycle counts.
  • Supplies the production lines with component materials in a safe, timely, and orderly manner.
  • Stacks and assembles materials as required.
  • Participates in quality improvements and/or lean process improvement activities.
  • Verify all incoming/outgoing products for quality and accuracy.
  • Establish, Train, and Monitor standards for incoming material, hardware, and supplies.
  • Ensure proper packaging, counting, and wrapping of all finished goods.
  • Proper documentation for all incoming/outgoing shipments
  • Ensure proper loading and unloading of all shipments.
  • Order and maintain shipping supplies.
  • Manage/maintain an accurate inventory of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be flexible to work any shift.
  • Run, manage and maintain a neat & organized shipping area
  • Must pass pre-work physical and drug test.
  • Other duties as directed

 

EDUCATION:

High School diploma or GED Equivalent

 

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • 1-3 years of experience in similar roles and responsibilities. Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Experience operating ERP software preferred
  • Prior lift truck experience required
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Must read and write English well enough to complete and comprehend basic business forms. Basic computer skills/knowledge with Microsoft Office applications required.
